Robert stared out the window waiting until he saw his girlfriend come walking up the walkway towards him. He felt half alive, half dead. All he knew was he didn't have a wife anymore. They divorced. A different kind of divorce, that is. Not performed in th typical fashion. He loved her and always would but it just wasn't working. He had to do something. So he wanted to make the ultimate move in his career one that would change it completely. Now as he watched his beautiful girlfriend come walking towards him he felt his heart soar and he smiled to himself. Self-satisfied with himself and his choices he knew all well that ended well.
